It has come to my attention that individuals affiliated with insurance companies and/or agencies have submitted bogus requests for quotes through our website(s) while posing as interested consumers. If placing anything other than a legitimate quote request is your intent, BE ADVISED:
This website is a legitimate business concern. When
you waste our time submitting a bogus quote request, you are interfering with a
legitimate business activity, presumably with the intent to cause harm to our
business. Further, we operate under the
presumption that an individual affiliated with any insurance company or agency who places
a bogus quote request does so with the intent to steal our trade secrets.
Please be further advised that any action
taken to interfere with or cause economic harm to our business will be treated as a threat to our business operation. It is our intention to vigorously defend our
business enterprise by pursuing legal action, where warranted, against any
individuals and/or their affiliated companies for placing even just one bogus
quote request through any of our affiliated websites or otherwise interfering with our business interests.
Legal action may include statutory violations, such as unfair or
deceptive trade practices or theft of trade secrets. It may also include various tort actions such as intentional
interference with economic activities.
Further, it may necessitate the filing of a complaint with the regulatory
authority in the individual’s state(s) of licensure. Other related legal recourse may also be
available.
If you are an individual affiliated in any capacity with any insurance
company or agency, by submitting a quote request through our online
system or by requesting a quote from us via phone, email or the USPS, you are
warranting that you truly are an interested consumer attempting to receive a
quote purely for your own personal use and for no other purpose
whatsoever. Further, when you request a
bogus quote request as defined herein, you are agreeing to pay all legal costs,
including attorney’s fees and court costs, associated with any legal action
that we may institute against you.
